Ignoble attack

While the whole country, between two car bombings, is attempting to negociate and apease the minds to sort out the political crisis, Patriarch Sfeir, a central figure of the process, was a few days ago the target of an attack which can only be described as terrorist. Some bad punster placed an extra-transparent glass panel on his path, and his Beatitude suffered a collision very painful to his prestige. (See photo of the attack above.)
Divine Benevolence prevented that supremely cowardly act from having too dire consequences. A half-hour later, His Holiness the Cardinal, still slightly dizzy (see second photo below), prayed for the salvation of the soul of the Ghastly Glazier, and sent out another plea for the Presidential election to go forth in complete transparency...

Alors que le pays tout entier, entre deux attentats, essaie de négocier et d'apaiser les esprits pour régler la crise politique, le Patriarche Sfeir, figure centrale du processus, a été il y a quelques jours la victime d'un attentat que force est d'appeler terroriste. Un mauvais plaisant a installé une vitre extra-transparente sur son trajet, et sa Béatitude a subi une collision fort douloureuse pour son prestige. (Voir ci-dessus photo de l'attentat.)
La Bienveillance divine a empêché cet acte suprêmement lâche d'avoir des conséquences trop graves. Une demi-heure après, sa Sainteté le Cardinal, encore légèrement sonné (voir seconde photo ci-dessous), priait pour le salut de l'âme du Vitrier Violent, et plaidait à nouveau pour que l'élection présidentielle progresse dans la transparence...
