50 y/o Saudi woman files for divorce after husband lifted her burqaa during her sleep

[Riyad Press Agencies]
A Saudi lady filed for divorce from her husband, because he lifted her burqaa during her sleep to look at her face, for the first time in their 30 years of marriage.
Indeed, since the wedding of the couple, both over 50 (today), the husband had never seen the face of his wife, in compliance with the local traditions in their village in the semi-desertic region of Khamiss Mouchitt, in southern Saudi Arabia.
Anger drove the wife to leave the house, blaming her husband who, "after all this time of living together, tries to commit such a grave wrong", stating that he would have to put up with the consequences.
And indeed, put up with his "wrong" the husband did, making repeated apologies to his wife and mother of his children, and solemnly vowing to never again dare attempt to try and see the face of his 50 year-old spouse.
This is not the first instance in which Saudi media tell of women whose husband never saw the face after years, sometimes decades, of marriage.
Such as Mohammad, who never could see the face of his wife during their 40 years of marriage, during which 3 children were born. The moment he saw it, she filed for divorce, considering it a violation of the customs and traditions she was used to and in which she had been raised.
As for Ali Al-Qahtâni, he insists that in spite of a 10 year-long marriage, he never could see once the face of his wife, which the burqaa never departs. He mentiond trying once to remove the burqaa from her face, but she threatened him to leave the house and return to her parents if he even thought about it, and he could only get her to stay after making her the most sacred oath to never again think of doing such a thing. As for Hassan Al-Aatîbi, he tried to pressure his veil-wrapped wife by threatening to marry a second time if she didn't show him her face, but she preferred to see the arrival of a "competitor" rather than to yield. Not only that, she also nominated a friend of hers, who doesn't follow the same strict customs.
Umm Rabih Al-Hajdari, age 70, mother of two young men, none of whom -nor their father either- ever saw her face in their life, says she got used to wearing the burqaa since her infancy, considering that taking it off would be a terrible shame, especially to her family, for she got used to seeing her sisters and mother wearing it since her earliest years, and she says her husband didn't ask her to take it off because he knows it's a tradition that must be preserved. And on the topic of having had children without him seeing her face, Mrs Al-Hajdari said this isn't considered an important matter, for her husband is used to never seeing the face of his own sisters and mother either. She insisted that intimacy and feelings are the basis of the marital relationship, and not the face.
While her son's wife, Noura, herself a mother of 7 sons, certifies that wearing the burqaa including within her family and with her husband is part of the customs inherited from her family, and her husband asked her several times to take off the burqaa when at home but she refused, saying she sleeps with the burqaa on her face, which annoys her husband, whom she says is used to seeing the face of his own mother hidden by the burqaa.

[Right here at home, Mom has started facing the option of filing for divorce. When her husband says he's going to take her out, he leaves the house, and locks her inside! But I don't think Dad has any ill intent. It's just that he's becoming absent-minded, with age... Let us not veil our faces, nobody gets younger with time!]

How COULD they? Nobody's ever seen their face!!!

The Middle East in general. Fugly, hairy-lipped cows. That's why they came up with the idea of the burka in the first place...because the men were going by the old "no one fucks the face" philosophy (whoever came up with that never got a blow I guess). I can't see why anyone not a trained ninja would willingly dress like that.

No one fucks with The Jesus

What about hairy-lipped mexican wrestlers?
Oh, wait...
Never mind.

Yes, quality has definitely declined.

Maybe if you ran a porn site you'd get more traffic.

Pascal [P-04referent] said...

If I ran a porn site, would I bother with a blog and try to get noticed by all the pretty-and-intelligent women for my sharp wits?
How many billionaires do you know that play the lottery? ;-)

Still... that's a very cool idea, and I think I'm the first one to have it: an islamic porn site. Nothing but hot, sexy, horny muslim babes, stark naked under their burqaa and niqab. Would definitely promote the imagination!
And all perfectly halâl. :-)))
[Hey, I wonder if this thread will now become popular with search engines?]
Can you imagine, Jeff Stryker with a 3-foot Taliban mane-like beard? And using turban-capped condoms...

Or maybe a sex site with look-alikes of Lebanese politicians, since they're all SO hunky?
Nnnaaaah! Too unbelievable. Everybody knows there's nothing but chaste holy monks in the Lebanese political class. Unlike the Vatican.
Vaticanese politicians should take example from the impeccable moral ethics of the Italians.

More in-depth philosophy on my @r@b pr0n blog, to be opened soon.
(As soon as I buy a few dozen fiancées from local sheikhs to get the shop up and running. I hope I have enough goats on my savings account...)
Heck, if even this sorry guy can get away with being a "pornographer-photographer-and-performer" both behind and in front of the camera, then handsome me has struck the mother lode for sure.

Yes, Mother, you can unlode right here, I'll unpack later. Sorry for using the stick.
Excuse me, folks. Gotta vamoose. It's Friday, the Mosque parish is meeting in my house any minute for tea & baklawa, and my harem is a mess.
Hi-ho, Samira, away! Giddyup, camel.

There are maybe some chicks out there who have a fugly guy fetish, or fugly guys who want to imagine the fugly guy porking the hot-yet-strangely-trashy chick is them. Kind of harder to do with regular porn, where the dudes are well-hung, studly, and muscular. Not balding, flabby, and...well, for all I know this guy might be well hung.

It's surprising, but there appears always to be room for more porn sites. Ever heard of one going bankrupt? Maybe that just doesn't make the business pages. It seems that all you've got to do is advertise for some sluts, get a camera, put up a website, get a company to do your billing, and you can make some money.

Pascal [P-04referent] said...

No, he's not well hung either, that outdated bletting biker wannabe. Visibly below average, even (I've seen his samples). The only thing he's got rooting for him is that he's a medically normal adult human male. And probably that he's got cash.
In his earliest samples, he's got that typical idiotic grin that says "I can't believe I'm actually getting laid!"

In many ordinary porn films I've seen (granted, I'm no pro expert, but I've seen more than a few), the physique of the men outside of their undies' contents seems rather irrelevant, even though body-builders ARE appreciated. But balding, aging, unkempt, bellied blokes are common. Which tells a lot about the target public of these flicks.
And many of the women, it seems to be the rule for recent films, are siliconed, have that repulsive slutty redone face, and their feet and toes are deformed by the constant wearing of very high-heeled shoes. Which ALSO tells a lot about the target public. :-P
The niche market of tasteful yet fully explicit porn is still direly under-exploited. Not profitable enough, perhaps? :-(

Speaking of porn clichés:
- Do you know why actresses in porn movies always keep their shoes on?
- Because they have smelly feet!

Probably those pesky budget cuts, they're saving on soap...

Which is why if I watch it I'm going to go for classic 70s and 80s Color Climax, or something like Abby Winters. No silicone is sight. All natural.

I saw everything that my wife had on our wedding night. Glad that wedding veil was only temporary.

Must be a completely trusting husband to not question who was hiding behind the burqa.

He may have gotten the wrong sister;-)
